Faculty Development Program

The incorporation of Information Technology in education brought up many positive changes. With the change in time, we all can see the upgrades taking place in the Industry. To cope up with the changes in the Industry, Sofpro has come up with an interactive Faculty Development Program to expose, enrich and equip the faculties of engineering colleges with technical gap of Practical Knowledge among the Faculties.

Faculty Development Program is especially important in adapting faculty members to their changing roles initiating and setting the directions for curricular changes. Overall, the aim of this program is to support faculty in adapting to the Technical Advancements as well as a way that becomes beneficial for them as well as students.

The program aims at enhancing the practical environment in the Institutions by providing faculty members with enough opportunities to pursue research in the respective field. Participation in such programs would enable faculty members to update their research and pedagogical skills.

Objective of FDP is to develop following skills in faculties

• Make them aware about upcoming latest technologies of Industry.
• To enrich the knowledge of faculties through interaction with highly skilled professionals.
• The knowledge gained by the faculty will be helpful for their students in future.
• Upgrading the skill set of the faculty in order to include technological advancements.
• Allowing the opportunity for the faculty to interact with others to find out what is happening in the Technical field.
• Fostering the learning of new skills and knowledge.
